At a panel titled “The Global Governance Crisis and the United Nations: Debates on Reform,” organized by Istanbul Gelisim University’s Department of Political Science and International Relations, İGÜSAM, and the ODAP Center, retired Ambassador Uluç Özülker will discuss the United Nations’ control mechanisms on the international stage.
 
In today’s world, where wars, ethnic conflicts, and numerous socio-economic problems are on the rise, the UN’s governance mechanisms will be examined, and the reform debates will be highlighted.
 
Through this panel, at a time when the effects of globalization are being debated, we aim to provide participants with a different perspective on the topic by examining in detail the role, responsibilities, and challenges faced by the United Nations.
