Digital Diplomacy Workshop through Simulation Games: Workshop

A workshop titled “Analysis of Diplomacy Through Digital Simulations,” jointly organized by the Department of Political Science and International Relations, IGUSAM, and the International Diplomacy Club, was held with the participation of department students.

Led by Research Assistant Dr. Onur Kaya, a faculty member of our department, the workshop analyzed topics such as crisis management in international relations, foreign policy preferences, and state behavior using digital simulation games like Hearts of Iron IV and Suzerain, employing a collective decision-making approach on a single computer.

In this interactive workshop, participants had the opportunity to develop skills such as decision-making under constraints of limited information and time, as well as strategic analysis, while gaining hands-on experience with complex diplomatic processes.
