The 8th International Middle East Symposium Was Hosted at IGU

The project, which was awarded funding under the “2223-B Support for the Organisation of Domestic Scientific Events” programme run by the Presidency of Scientific Personnel Support Programmes (BİDEB) at TÜBİTAK, was organised under the theme “The Middle East in a Spiral of Expectations and Uncertainties”. A large number of academics and experts, both from Turkey and abroad, attended the symposium.

The symposium was organised under the auspices of the Istanbul Gelişim University Centre for Political and Social Research (İGÜSAM); and was organised in collaboration with numerous national and international partners, including the Diplomacy Foundation, ODAP (Middle East, Eurasia and Asia-Pacific Research Platform), TASCA (Turkish-Arab-African Strategic Cooperation Council) and the MOKHA Centre for Strategic Studies.
