A panel on "Socio-Politics of Coups in Turkey and July 15" was held online on July 15, 2021 by the Department of Political Science and International Relations, Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences of Istanbul Gelisim University.

In the panel moderated by Yavuz Cilliler -Head of Political Science and International Relations Department at Istanbul Gelisim University-, Assoc. Prof. Alper Mumyakmaz -Sociology Department lecturer at Yozgat Bozok University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences- delivered a speech titled "Coup Tradition in Turkey and July 15". Dr. Gokberk Yucel- Faculty member at Amasya University, Merzifon Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Political Science and Public Administration- gave a speech entitled "The Fethullahist Terrorist Organization as a Threat to the Ontological Security of the State". Dr. Emre Gundogdu - Faculty member at Istanbul Gelisim University, Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, Department of Political Science and International Relations- delivered a speech titled "July 15 Coup Attempt in the Context of the Hybrid Terrorist Threat".
